Position Overview:

The Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the company, ensuring that the organization is managed and performing efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Establishes quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the company’s efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated; identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Implements policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations.
  • Oversees Order Entry, Purchasing/Logistics, Marketing and Facilities departments, ensuring each is reaching goals set by departmental and company leadership.
  • Hands-on lead position of developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive ERP system in coordination with ERP Team
  • Communicates and explains new directives, policies, or procedures to managers; for major changes, meets with entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale.
  • Improves customer service and satisfaction through policy and procedural changes.
  • Act as a primary contact for third party consulting priorities, and review quotes, pricing, and service level agreements
  • Leads coordination and integration of efforts among operations, information technology and finance divisions to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business processes.
  • Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
  • Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of assigned staff.
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Communicate and interact with customers and various internal departments in order to resolve issues, capitalize on opportunities and improve business and service performance.
  • Achieves company operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; and identifying trends
  • Analyze process workflow, manning and space requirements, and equipment layout, implementing changes frequently with the appropriate methodologies.
  • Measures productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports.
  • Assists with budget preparation for operations unit.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or related field required; M.B.A. preferred.
  • Certification through the Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM) preferred.
  • Minimum Five years of related experience required.
  • Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.
  • Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies involved in business and finance.
  • Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Superior managerial and diplomacy skills.
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Director of Finance


LOCATIONS:

Position Overview:

The individual in this position will direct and oversee the financial activities of the company, direct the preparation of current financial reports and summaries, and create forecasts predicting the future growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees Accounting department, budget preparation, and audit functions.
  • Works with other department heads to monitor each department and make recommendations.
  • Directs the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.
  • Ensures the integrity of all system of controls and verifications over accounting transactions and entries as well as record retention and backups.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions.
  • Compares sales and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses; makes or oversees any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets.
  • Reviews planning process and suggests improvements to current methods.
  • Analyzes operations to identify areas in need of reorganization, downsizing, or elimination.
  • Works with the President and other executives to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process.
  • Act as primary contact for third party consulting providers and review capital investment proposals, pricing decisions and maintenance, leases, contract negotiations.
  • Coordinate all external audits, reviews and reporting to financial institutions and regulatory agencies.
  • Studies long-range economic trends and projects their impact on future growth in sales and market share.
  • Identifies opportunities for expansion into new product areas.
  • Oversees investment of funds and works with investment bankers to raise additional capital required for expansion.
  • Manage cash flow and foreign exchange transactions, currency monitoring and forecasts, forward / hedging contracts.
  • Calculate and monitor commissions/bonuses for all sales staff and oversee payroll functions.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required.
  • Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
  • Seven or more years of experience in financial management required.
  • Excellent management and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in database and accounting computer application systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage all levels of staff including at remote locations.

Director of Information Technology

Position Overview:

The Director of Information Technology role will lead the IT transformation journey by focusing on business operations process harmonization and act as the top IT business partner – providing critical support for the growth trajectory of the organization. This position will lead, plan and oversee of all internal IT operations across the organization, as well as support of existing applications and development of new technical solutions. He/she is responsible for understanding the current business and information technology platforms and outlining a strategy to ensure that processes, tools, and capabilities required to deliver on future technical needs.

The IT director provides strategic leadership direction and tactical support, guided by analytical and technical expertise in the design, installation, and administration of hardware and software systems. He/she is responsible for team development and leading the team to effectively serve internal and external customers. He/she drives industry best practices, methodologies, define standards and refine policies to provide exceptional operational support and customer service.

The Director is responsible for establishing and maintaining IT Security strategies to ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected including technologies designed to reduce and mitigate information security risk across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong understanding of the current business and information technology platform to ensure tools and capabilities are in place to deliver support for the business.
  • Outline IT strategies and objectives that are aligned with the Company’s growth plans. Select, design, and implement suitable technologies to streamline internal operations and help optimize strategic benefits in alignment with the Company’s growth plans.
  • Define and communicate plans, procedures, policies, and standards for the organization for acquiring, implementing, and operating new technology strategies. Provide recommendations for more efficient data collection, transmission, reporting and interpretation, as a means of generating data-driven business decisions.
  • Lead, manage and develop a team of IT staff with a focus on mentorship to develop effective business partners.
  • Establish and lead an enterprise-wide information security and assurance function via the design and execution of vulnerability assessments, penetration tests and security audits.
  • Approve purchases of IT hardware and software solutions and systems including strategic partnership with IT providers that align with the IT strategy. Manage the overall IT capital and expense budgets.
  • Oversee the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the organization to ensure optimal performance. Evaluate the most effective use of the Company’s ERP and other software systems, including periodic reviews to ensure the software remains appropriate for current and future use.
  • Direct and organize IT related projects, utilizing project management disciplines, in cooperation with business partners.
  • Manage outsourced IT projects, including the scope of work, budget, completion status, and required on-site access.
  • Analyze emerging technologies and advancements in technology to discover ways the company can benefit while translating impact on current and future business processes.
  • Analyze the costs, value, and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest actions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a computer-related field is required
  • Industry professional certifications (i.e.., ITIL, PMI, CCNA, MSCE, Microsoft, Cisco and/or Cyber Security) is strongly preferred
  • Visionary leadership and superior analytical and problem-solving proven experience as an IT business partner. Must have at least seven (7) years of leadership experience managing people and projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A strong strategic and business mindset including business/IT transformation with demonstrated skill sets of leading change and delivering projects.
  • Expert understanding of IT systems and infrastructure. SAP Business One system knowledge highly preferred.
  • Ability to work with teams to generate technical solutions to drive automation and efficiencies.
  • Excellent organization and leadership skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Knowledge of IT governance requirements, compliance, and security best practices.
  • Understanding of Microsoft technologies including Windows and M365 Exchange.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Tri-Vin Imports (Wine/liquor distributor www.tri-vin.com) is looking for a Sales Manager to expand our customer base in Manhattan and Brooklyn (New York). You will continue develop business directly with distributors, partners and chain customers. Bring distributor partner(s) on board to grow the market. Bi-weekly reports and updates to General Sales Manager. You will need to establish clear sales objectives for the week, month, year, etc. Demonstrate knowledge in our area of sales, experience forecasting sales and building a customer base. Sales Manager will be responsible for developing profitable sales initiatives with the company’s customers and sales team that will result in annual sales volume increases that are consistent with the agreed upon sales goals. Ensures the sale of Company products to potential retail customers through the prospecting of new contacts. Directs the sale of Company products and services to existing accounts through the management of field Sales Representatives. Trains new Sales Representatives and ensures understanding of organization policies, practices, products, and services. Directs the execution of sales plans and sales promotions to ensure the achievement of assigned sales goals. Provides regular/special reports detailing the measurement of results compared to assigned sales objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensures the attainment of sales goals for the assigned district through the regular evaluation of vendor/partner relationships, new business opportunities, and voids in present sales/service levels.
  • Supervises Sales Representatives to ensure maximum sales/profits from assigned accounts. Coaches, directs, counsels Sales Representatives on overall performance. Defines expectations and monitors progress.
  • Conducts team meetings with Sales Representatives. Introduces new products, services, and policies. Advises Sales Representatives of new promotions/programs. Provides summary of current/projected sales activity for assigned district.
  • Works with Sales Representatives making customer calls and implementing territory improvement plans. Conducts field training and instructs Sales Representatives in applications of selling aids.

  • Provides regular and accurate sales management reports for the assigned district to field sales management. Addresses new business opportunities, current levels of sales/service, and territory improvement plans.
  • Participates in the recruitment of new Sales Representatives. Proposes selection and hiring of new Sales Representatives.
