An intense, deep garnet red color with ruby shades. Full-bodied and structured with a good alcohol content. The bouquet is austere, noble, full, expansive, and lingering. Oak, mature fruit, and alpine flower notes on the nose, as well as a subtle presence of resin bringing sweet spice tones and peach leaf notes. At first taste, the initial sensation of intense warmness gives way to the agreeable, sweet-tending tannins. Perfumes and sensations already perceived through the nose are amplified and confirmed into the mouth. Fine structure, harmony, and balance – combined with lingering aroma and complexity – are the premises of a great longevity.
