Splendid deep ruby-red, with garnet highlights that stand out on its crystal clearness.  Very intense, long, complex bouquet conjuring up withered roses, mountain flowers, noble wood and vanilla. Starts out warm and pervasive on the palate, leading into a big structure packed with balance and body. The sweetish tannins confirm all the essence of Nebbiolo. Good acidity gives the wine an appealing, inviting feel. Long aromatic finish full of nuances. The Barolo from this area is very long-lasting, promising a great future.

"An earthy and spicy red with foie gras and berry character. Full body, soft and velvety tannins and a savory finish. So delicious now. Wait and see." —J.S.
