"Mostly Grenache from Pignan with small amounts of Mourvèdre and Syrah, the 2017 Châteauneuf Du Pape Les Hesperides offers a ripe, complex style that carries beautiful notes of black raspberries, forest floor, bouquet garni, leather, and ground pepper. This rich, sexy Châteauneuf du Pape has ultra-fine tannins, no hard edges, plenty of mid-palate depth, and a great finish." - Jeb Dunnuck

"A 50-50 blend of Grenache and Mourvédre sourced from safre, or sandy soils, this unctuous red fills the palate with plumes of silken raspberry preserves, fresh sage and thyme. Matured 18 months in a combination of stainless steel and oak, it's a rich, concentrated wine wrapped in firm, fine-tipped tannins. A stunner in youth but powerful enough to mature nicely through 2035 and hold further." - Wine Enthusiast

"Hespérides is a 50/50 blend of Grenache and Mourvèdre from north-facing 60-year-old vines, grown on sand in lieu-dit Les Bédines. The fruit is destemmed and fermented in stainless steel, then aged for 18 months, with 20% going into demi-muid. And wow, what a nose! It's pure crème de mûre and blackberry pâte de fruits, framed by wild herbs. In the mouth, sweet black berry fruits are accompanied by vibrant acidity and powerful tannins, all adding up to quite a bombastic Châteauneuf." - Decanter
