A joint venture between João van Zeller and the Symington family, this 2005 Vintage Port was fermented with native yeasts and bottled unfined and unfiltered. Opaque, with a deep purple rim, this young Port shows impressive aromatic concentration: blackberries and black cherries combine with hints of spices and cedar. The palate is rich, but well-balanced with layers of well-integrated tannins and the classic mineral notes of the upper Douro's schist soils.
