Special cuvée in memory of João Oliveira
"This international wine project was founded by João Fernando Oliveira, for whom this wine is named. Bairrada is not a forgiving place, even for dedicated locals, a coastal plain of sand and clay-limestone regularly hit by rain at harvest time. This is a brutal Bairrada in the best sense, a tight red with a fierce olive-green edge. Flower-petal bitterness and juicy red fruit come up in the end. For suckling pig."
Tussock Jumper will donate all proceeds from bottles of João’s Reserva to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to further research into cancer.
