The Doctor has a dark garnet hue and expressive aromas of ripe blackberries, dark chocolate and anise. With a fleshy texture and supple tannins, this wine envelops the palate in luscious, lingering boysenberry, crème de cassis and toffee. The 2014 vintage saw early bud break and a consistently warm spring and summer leading to an early harvest characterized by even ripening and mature tannins. Pair with dry-aged ribeye steak and roasted spring lamb with fresh herbs.
