"Few Spanish Cabernets are excellent, but this one from the Valencia region makes the grade. A brambly nose packed with dark-berry aromas, heat and a touch of raisin sets up a saturated palate with hard tannins. Oaky, toasty black plum and blackberry flavors are painted with wood spice notes, while this is quite dry and persistently tannic on the finish."
